In accepting this the booking, we hereby indemnify Top Compliance (Pty) Ltd, its affiliated companies, directors, shareholders, agents (whether authorised or not), employees, servants, representatives and officers ("Top Compliance (Pty) Ltd") for any claim that may arise against Top Compliance (Pty) Ltd for any loss, damage (including direct, indirect and consequential damages and/or loss of profits), costs (including legal costs on the scale as between attorney and client and any additional legal costs), expenses and/or liability (whether actual, contingent or otherwise) of whatever nature and however arising or caused (including liability in terms of section 60 and 61 of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008), which Top Compliance (Pty) Ltd or any third party may suffer, incur or sustain or which may arise, directly or indirectly as a result of the personal injury or death of our employees and/or representatives whilst they undertake training presented by Top Compliance (Pty) Ltd.

How to Register

 

Option 1: Training at your venue:    

    1. Complete the online booking form by using the following link: https://www.topcompliance.co.za/index.php/skills-training/booking-form#booking-venue

Option 2: Online training via ZOOM:

    1. Complete the online booking form by using the following link: https://www.topcompliance.co.za/index.php/skills-development-head/virtual-online-classroom-courses
    2. All details will be emailed to the delegate with the ZOOM information required to attend the online virtual classroom. Thus, email address is required.
    3. A Non-Disclosure and Intellectual Property Rights Security Agreement will automatically link to the online booking form that needs to be read prior to being able to submit any booking form.

 

  1. Your booking forms must reach us five working days before the course due date.
  2. You will then receive an invoice once the electronically completed Booking Form has been received.
  3. Once full payment has been received your booking will be confirmed and date will not be changed.
  4. Clients who want to book dates in advance for training at their venue will be required to pay a R1000.00 (one thousand rand) per day, non-refundable booking fee to confirm the dates, after which the date cannot be changed for any reason. The booking fee paid will be deducted from your final invoice.
  5. We are willing to do the training at your venue provided that:
    1. You need to have a venue that is conducive to a professional learning environment: chairs, tables, good lighting, and proper ventilation and must be clean.
    2. Your company needs to comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  1. A member of your staff will inform the Facilitator of your site-specific emergency evacuation and duress procedures at 07h40 of day 1 of training.
    1. Staff may NOT be disrupted during the training course for any reason.
    2. Staff will not be permitted to work on laptops or any other device while busy with the course.
  1. If, however, you have less than 3 (three) delegates and would like the training at your venue a facilitator fee of R1500.00 (one thousand five hundred rand) per day will be charged.
  2. Top Compliance (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to prioritise large group booking.

 

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Cancellations – 50% refund will be given for cancellations made in writing 10 (ten) working days prior to course.
  2. No shows will be charged the full course fee.
  3. Substitutions are most welcome. Send through the details of the substitute delegate at least five working days before the course date. Send the following information: Name, surname and date of birth. In an online course also submit their email address.
  4. Please note we are not responsible for spelling mistakes or incorrect date of births submitted to us.
  5. Training is done in English. All training materials and assessments will therefore be in English. 
  6. Delegates are required to be present for the full duration of the course to qualify to do the assessments.
  7. Pass marks are as follows:
    1. All first aid courses Practical assessment #1 – CPR – 100%
    2. All first aid courses Practical assessment #2 – 50%
    3. All other courses Practical assessments – 50%
    4. All Summative assessment – 50%
    5. All POE’s – 70%
    6. Should the person be found to be “Not Yet Competent – NYC”, they will have a second opportunity to redo the assessment not achieved which must be done within two months of the course. Cost of travel and hourly rate (including travel time) of the facilitator will be charged. Date and time will be confirmed by the facilitator once the delegate has indicated they are prepared for the assessment.
  8. All certificates are valid for three years from date of course completion. Due to legislation and protocols constantly improving.
  9. If the certificate needs to be register mailed to you, a fee of R100.00 (one hundred rand) will be charged.
  10. Reprints will be charged at R50.00 (fifty rand) per print. Certificates are only issued to the delegate that successfully completed the training.
  11. Training at your venue will include a travel fee of the facilitator depending on the travel distance. This will be indicated on the invoice.
  12. Should you require training on weekends or afterhours the following fees will be applicable:
    1. Saturday R600.00 (six hundred rand) per day.
    2. Sunday R1250.00 (one thousand two hundred and fifty rand) per day.
    3. Afterhours (after 17h00) R350.00 (three hundred and fifty rand) per hour.
  13. All training courses start with registration at 07h45 and training officially starts at 08h00 promptly unless otherwise specified.
  14. Any delegate that arrived more than 40 minutes late will be refused entry and forfeit their training. (08h25)

 

Additional terms during the Pandemic of Covid-19 after lockdown period

  1. Your company is responsible to ensure that the venue has been disinfected every day prior to training.
  2. No one will be excused to attend meetings, run errands etc. during the training.
  3. The delegates must be present for the full duration of the training – No exceptions will be tolerated. Please ensure that this is communicated to all delegates.
  4. Delegates to bring own stationery and paper to training as no sharing.
  5. No eating or drinking will be permitted during the training while in the venue. Only during break times when they may leave the venue.
  6. Your venue needs to be conducive to a professional learning environment: chairs, tables, good lighting, and proper cross ventilation and must be clean.
  7. Delegates will be required to wear a face mask covering mouth and nose for the full duration of the training.
  8. A basic health screen of all delegates will be conducted prior to the start of the training by the facilitator.
  9. Seating arrangement to ensure that each delegate is a minimum of two meters away from the other.
  10. Windows and doors to be opened to ensure adequate cross ventilation. This will apply for all seasons. Should the venue not have windows the training will be cancelled immediately.
  11. The use of air conditioners will not be permitted.
  12. Use of fans with open doors and windows will be permitted.
  13. Anyone who appears visibly ill and is coughing or sneezing will be asked to leave and attend on another day.
