Movember

Movember” is an annual event that takes place during the month of November, where men grow mustaches to raise awareness and funds for men’s health issues, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. The name “Movember” is a combination of “mustache” and “November.” The goal of Movember is to encourage men to take charge of their health, get regular check-ups, and openly discuss their health concerns.

Participants, often referred to as “Mo Bros,” start the month with a clean-shaven face and then grow a mustache throughout November. They use their mustaches as conversation starters to discuss men’s health issues and encourage others to contribute to the cause. It’s a global movement with fundraising efforts supporting various men’s health organizations and initiatives.
